Working with an experienced accounting team, you will partner closely with our Infrastructure, FP&amp;A, and AP teams to provide technical accounting guidance and transform complex data into clear, actionable documentation. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong interest in optimizing or automating financial processes. If you are an agile problem-solver with a strong foundational knowledge of accounting standards looking to make an impact in a fast-growing business, we want to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for review of colocation service contracts and accurate reporting for month end close processes and SOX controls</li> <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with the internal Infrastructure Strategy team and Business Partners to understand business objectives, develop processes and provide accounting guidance and best practice recommendations to drive process improvements</li> <li>Work closely with FP&amp;A and tax teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies through effective communications and execution</li> <li>Research and apply accounting guidance to new and ongoing business initiatives in order to ensure accurate reporting</li> <li>Reach conclusions with an adequate level of rationale and documentation for review and then communicate and present the accounting conclusions to the team</li> <li>Own key SOX controls as well as gathering necessary audit documentation for internal and external auditors</li> <li>Understand how systems work to drive improvements and automation</li> <li>Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Prepare and book monthly infrastructure accruals</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Role Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Must-Have Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of relevant accounting experience</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting</li> <li>Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS</li> <li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work well under pressure</li> <li>Experience in designing and implementing new processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working across multiple time zones</li> <li>Experience accounting for infrastructure / data center activities</li> <li>CPA/CA or equivalent qualification</li> <li>Experience with ASC 842 or IFRS 16 accounting</li> <li>Experience working in Oracle</li> <li>Experience utilizing AI as part of process improvement and automation</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h3>What Makes Cloudflare Special?</h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
