Within the Enterprise Applications Team is a technical group responsible for the HR tech suite and associated integrations with various platforms.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Workday Integration Specialist to join our People &amp; Payroll Systems team, an energetic team focused on building resilient and efficient solutions to difficult problems. The Workday Integration Specialist serves as a technical point of contact for production support issues and assigned projects, including solution design, technical documentation, and implementation. We strive to build reliable, fault-tolerant systems that can operate at Cloudflare’s scale.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work on a range of system integration support, technical debt and HR initiatives involving Workday, Greenhouse, middleware, data lakes and other systems.</li> <li>Help design, build, test, and support inbound and outbound Workday integrations.</li> <li>Integrate Workday HCM with third-party global payroll and benefits providers.</li> <li>Configure integration security.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and fix production support issues.</li> <li>Develop Workday custom reports, including BIRT.</li> <li>Create and launch EIBs.</li> <li>Work with teams to communicate, verify, and test desired functionality changes.</li> <li>Leverage AI to build solutions, document solutions and streamline processes.</li> <li>Work with internal business users to demonstrate changes to the system and ensure all relevant business needs are addressed.</li> <li>Create and maintain system design documentation.</li> <li>Enforce Workday integration best practices and standards.</li> <li>Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication.</li> <li>Work on other assigned projects and tasks as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology-related field, or relevant experience implementing business systems.</li> <li>Proficient technical knowledge of Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and third-party payroll vendors such as ADP, CloudPay, Safeguard, and TMF.</li> <li>Workday integration certifications preferred.</li> <li>2–3 years of experience in software development.</li> <li>Experience developing Workday inbound and outbound integrations.</li> <li>Experience developing Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.</li> <li>Experience developing Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS, and web services.</li> <li>Experience working with Workday Studio.</li> <li>Experience working with Workday Object Transporter (OX).</li> <li>Experience leveraging AI tools to help build solutions and build documentation.</li> <li>Knowledge of XML and XSLT; Java and MVEL are secondary technical skills.</li> <li>Experience monitoring and maintaining interfaces between Workday and internal or external vendor systems.</li> <li>Self-motivated and exceptionally detail-oriented.</li> <li>Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while demonstrating a sense of urgency.</li> <li>Ability to think through and deliver creative, value-added solutions through self-initiative and ownership.</li> <li>Experience with Jira and Google Suite.</li> <li>Experience building strong working relationships with business partners, application users, project managers, internal IT teams, and external application consultants.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h3>What Makes Cloudflare Special?</h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
